The wearing of strict school uniform is positively encouraged in
all departments. All pupils should wear the full school uniform as
outlined below including sensible black shoes rather than
trainers.
Our School Uniform comprises:
- White, red or grey shirt / polo shirt
- Red sweatshirt / jumper or cardigan
- Grey or black skirt or trousers, (red / white dress in
Summer)
- Grey or black trousers / shorts
- Sensible black shoes (Not trainers or heels)
- Red / grey striped tie (optional)
- Red / grey / black / white socks
Most uniform items can be easily obtained from local shops or
stores. Sweaters with the school logo on are available from 'SHU'
on Frank Street, just off the Town Square. School ties are
available from the office.
For P.E.
Children will need:
- White T-shirt or polo shirt
- For Winter outdoor games (football, netball, etc), children may
need tracksuits.
- Junior children will also need a swimming costume / trunks and
a towel on swimming days.
P.E. kit should be kept in a named P.E. bag on your child's peg in
the cloakroom.
Fashion Items and Hair Styles
Please note that fashion items i.e. clothing displaying logos
are NOT school uniform. Necklaces, rings and looped earrings, fancy
hair trimmings and extreme haircuts or colourings are not allowed.
Long hair should be tied up with bobbles etc in the school
colours.
Please Label all Uniform Items!
All items should be clearly labelled with the child's name.

their appropriate P.E. kit in school on the appropriate day.
